ORDER THE BOOK NOW AT AMAZON.COM !!

Welcome to the site for my new book TURN IT OFF: How to Unplug from the Anytime-Anywhere Office Without Disconnecting Your Career. As you'll learn elsewhere on this site, this book is the first of its kind - the first book that helps you understand and deal with the unexpected effects of today's wonderful mobile-office technologies. See the publisher's news release about the book here.

This site, like the book itself, isn't intended to get you to stop working at 5 p.m. sharp and to limit your work week to forty hours. That would be nice, but it's probably not feasible for most of us. Instead, the book is about the way in which our lives are being affected by the disappearance of the boundaries that used to clearly exist between work and the rest of our lives.

It's up to you to decide whether, and how, you want to re-establish those boundaries. If you do, and you want a practical, sensible approach to regain part of your life without jeopardizing your job or your career, then this site and book are for you.

Thanks very much for visiting. I welcome your comments and suggestions about the book, about this site, and about the general topic of the spillover of our work into our lives.
